I have a large media collection in the 14TB barracuda pro drive inside my PC. I used to keep in a external WD 18TB drive until I bought the barracuda. Now I keep the files at hand and I use the 18TB external as a cold backup.
My problem is that whenever I want to backup new stuff to the external drive, it takes quite long for windows to register all the files that already exist in the backup drive and start copying the new ones.
Ideally I want to automate, or at least find a quick way to periodically (let's say once every 2 weeks or once a month) backup the drive to the external one. The main folder I want to manage is about 11TB
Does anyone have any recommendations or solutions?
