I have some Easystore drives. These drives have their own power supply, but they always disconnect and have been doing so from Ventura to now Sonoma. Doesn't matter if they're directly connected or to a hub.

Things I've tried:

  • Turning off the energy saver settings for those drives
  • The utility/app "keep driving spinning"
  • Amphetamine the app.

The only way these drives stay active is with the app "virtual dj" open. This hogs up about 4gb of RAM though so it's not a good solution. Also, weird that other apps which access folders on those drives won't keep the drives connected. Any ideas what might work with low RAM?
