I'm trying to build a Network storage system for ..... things.

I currently have 2 rPi 4s, a AMD ryzen 5 2600 with motherboard, RAM, GPU and PSU.

2 - WD Blue 1TB SATA HDDs 7200 (2013, 2018) 1 - Seagate HDD 500GB 7200 (2012) 1 - HGST 1TB HDD 5400 (2017) 1 - Toshiba 1TB SHDD 5400 (2017)

1- San Disk SSD plus 120 GB (?)

1 - Crucial M.2 1TB (?) 1 - random m.2 128 GB (2018)

My fisrst question is should I ditch the HDDs and start fresh with newer gen models? If I get new HDDs would I be able to combine them with the M.2s and SSDs for one volume? How would I even do this? Whats the best solution for housing all these things? and lastly what system should I attach them to and how would I attach them? Any Recommendations would be great. I have a gigabit router/switch also if that helps.
