Just ordered two 24 tb wd red pros as my seagate exos drive was just too loud to operate. I have one 20 tb wd red pro drive and it is so much quieter than the seagate exos drive. I've heard stories about wd drives making clicking sound once few seconds, haven't noticed that in my wd red pro 20 tb drive. Is the issue fixed or did I got lucky somehow? My question is - are 24 tb wd red pro drives loud? I'm fine with regular hdd whoooming sounds but the seagate clanking sounds were just too much for me. As the 24tb wd drives are new there isn't much information available online, so that's why I'm asking :). Can somebody tell me if 24 tb wd red pros have noise problems (like really loud clacking and clicking sounds). I'm running them on my PC which sometimes runs at night and seagate drives drove me nuts - thought it was my AIO cooling malfunctioning. 20 tb wd drive was like two times quieter, my concern is that the 24 tb wd red pro drive will be loud and will make random unwanted noise. If anyone owns it please tell me your experience with them. Thanks
