I went and got myself a Proavio DS316 from my workplace not too long ago. Missing two trays out of the sixteen but the unit powers up and seems to work. I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with these as I can't really find anything about them online besides sales related stuff. I figure I'm going to need to get a SAS card to connect to it, or maybe I can use the network port for something. Not sure if it'll show up as a local disk to the system it's connected to or not. This will be my first time dealing with something using SAS.

Please and thank you!
