The Taliban couldn't finish the job, someone has to. It looks like the job will fall on Arabs and Iranians, and possibly Turks too this time, to expel the US and its vile attack dog out of the region once and for all.

Saudi Arabia and Iran reconciled last year and restored relations, which among many things brought an end to Saudi Arabia's involvement in Yemen.

Wasn't Bin Laden a CIA asset during the 80s? Might be more curious to know why he was using the last dredges of the Operation Cyclone budget to bite the hand that fed him.

Saudi Arabia did not fund them, that's a lie. Osama bin Laden was already non-grata and had his citizenship revoked years before 2001. But he was still working with the CIA before 9/11.
