Have you considered adopting a cat? A lot of places waive the fees to adopt.

I tend to go on trips for long periods at a time, I'm tight on cash, and I have issues that make it difficult on me to keep up with daily responsibilities. But I occasionally do volunteer at the shelter and the Zoo.

Got a three-day eviction after being at the same place for 15 years. Long story. Spent the time boxing and moving everything into storage. Was exhausted as hell. First morning waking up at a friend's house, it's 5am, I just want to scroll cat pictures and have a few clove cigarettes.
