I want to replace my 5yr old 2TB HDD that I use inside my PC. I also want to increase its size to avoid using external drives. I was thinking something along the lines of 14 to 16TB SATA drives

Most I see in that range are enterprise drives, and I'm not entirely sure what is the exact difference between them and normal consumer drives.

I've read some posts saying that they tend to be louder and hotter than normal drives, others saying that they have weird sleep routines so they accumulate hours of use quite quickly.

Are these true? is there a good quality drive I could use inside my PC?

And of course I need s SATA connection since I don't have any way to connect a SAS drive.
