They used to be. Until the U.S. Government replaced them with drone replicas designed to spy on the American public. Founded in 1976.

To be fair, they kinda look like birds. But the stiff wings really do give it away somehow. Very bird uncanny valley.

The whole point isn’t to convince troops who are paying close attention. It’s to trick troops who see them out of the out of the corner of their eye while doing something else.
