My qnap died and I’m trying out zfs with samba on an lxc with proxmox. The problem I have is about 3TB of small files (photos) on a usb that I want to copy over to a 2 drive mirrored dataset. rsync is extremely slow. About 75GB copied in 24hrs. Any suggestions?

Also have been spoilt by a decent file manager that showed progress in qnap. What’s the best way to monitor progress? Thanks in advance.
