Yes, I know how free speech used to be a left-wing issue (e.g. Playboy against religious groups that wanted to ban it) before the world got weird.
The left are really fucked now. Their economic policies are better for the world. But actually talking to them turns people off. They are their own worst enemy.
They need to rebrand

"Free speech" edgelords will leave the handshake the moment they have to support "e-thots" and people who criticize racism.
Hence, the edgelords, not regular pro free speech people.
