I still have lead lines servicing my home.

The city said they eventually want to replace all of them by like 2040 but mine come up on a trail through the woods. So we'll see.

What's really kinda funny is that water from lead lines tastes better than copper. It's why kids eating lead paint is a problem. Because it tastes pretty good

Same here! My home tubing is 100% copper but the city pipes contains lead.

They have provided me with a free Brita until it's fixed, probably by 2040 as well...

Have a look at life expectancy in those era's.

Here in the UK the pension age was set at 65 because relatively few people got to 65 at the time.
