I have a few portable hard drives that I back up files to. So far, I’ve been just creating a new folder on the backup drives with a date and copying all files into that folder (in their own folder system). I keep the backup drives in a fire safe between backups.

Is there any software I should be using that’s more robust? Or is a simple copy/paste fine.
