I am looking to manage my power a little better but try to maintain my lab needs as best I can. I am curious if it would make sense to move by backup ZFS array to the second node and just power it on say weekly, run snapshots and shut it down. This will save some significant energy, I estimate about 150-200 watts of runtime but just not sure how good of an idea it would be. Any other options?
