Got the new GPU installed. Pretty snazzy. Also managed to not let anything explode, so that's nice.

The cable situation is horrible now though. The last GPU was powered entirely through the pcie contact thingies, this one needs an 8 pin power cable. Had to do some googling to figure out what I was doing and how to make it work, but thankfully it seems like whoever created these cables was smart enough to consider non smart cookies (me), and design the cables to only go in 1 way, so no explosions

Getting close to the end of BG3 I think. I'm very excited. But now my brain occasionally just shouts at me "LIVES! All mortal lives. Expire. Souls go to their dooms, In flame, forevermore"

It’s so far not my thing it’s not even funny. I’m not a dnd guy or a magic/fantasy fan. With that said: It's one of the best games I’ve ever played. Deffo the best thing since horizon forbidden west.

Same! Trust me you'll love it. the first few hours is.... frustrating. But push through. One piece of advice: the game "implies" that a long rest is... lets say "dangerous" for a few reasons. but its not, it just doesnt do a good job of explaining itself. dont hesitate to long rest to restore spell slots and health.

Tyre swapped out. Also had a wheel alignment done as it was slightly out of whack after hitting an unmarked speed bump at 40kmh a few weeks ago.

Techs found a piece of bicycle chain in the tyre. Not a nail. But it was deep enough to still require a replacement.
