Looks like a charity dinner according to the signage in the second panel. So he’s bitching about food quality of something done for charity.
I’ll give him credit, he walks the walk. Anybody else would’ve probably complained, but it Everett. He may not like it, but he knows what’s up.
I'd probably take steps to make my baked goods the best possible were I making them for a charity event. There's no excuse for skipping on the strawberries unless you're on the USS Voyager.

I'd think I'd be getting more than three strawberries at the strawberry festival if I paid ~$9.
Can't tell if my man is upset about the price or if he's allergic to strawberries.
