I hated big emojis in the beginning of the Hexbear federation. Disgustingly big emojis filling up my pristine light-themed lemmygrad filled me with rage.

However, my feelings shifted after scrolling through each emoji for a whole week. I began noticing individual details and painstaking craftsmanship that went into their creation. The subtle coloring and contouring of angery, the classic trim of sicko-wistful's suit, the way that individual pores take on a hypnotic pattern in took-restraint, and so much more. I started to think of them not as just emojis, but a manifestation of Marx's metaphysical projection onto the hypermaterial world.

To paraphrase the hero of the Catalonian liberation himself, George Orwell, I have won the victory over myself. I love big emojis.

You could still post big images, right? I'm gonna test it:

EDIT: Hmmmm didn't work :/

It's not as large as I was hoping it would be though. I wonder if the emoji version is garf-chan

Attention all the hexbernies who are seeing small emojis from the above user (smoljis as I call them).
That emoji is NOT chairman Mao. From a close inspection of individual pixels of the full-scale emoji (fullmoji), I have deduced that it is in fact Patrick Bateman of notoriety.

Fullmojis are effective at guarding against revisionism. I'm warning all of you revisionists!

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand :hexbear-logo: emojis. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of 19th century leftist theory most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also :sicko-yes: 's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Mark Fisher's Capitalist Realism, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike giant Hexbear emojis truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in the existential kkkracker catchphrase :xi-plz: which itself is a cryptic reference to Kubrick's revolutionary socialist epic Dr. Strangelove. :strangelove: I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as :og-hex-bear: 's genius :PIGPOOPBALLS: unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them. :michael-laugh:

And yes, by the way, i DO have a :kelly: tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. :hentai-free: :volcel-judge: It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid :screm-cool:

I thought the whole thing with the big emojis was cause of a glitch in lemmy that causes them to show up big on every other instance except the home one?

[–] Trudge@lemmygrad.ml 8 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

That is revisionist history.

The correct orthodox interpretation of the phenomena is that Hexbear creates emojis and Lemmygrad enlarges them, completing the dialectics.

Counterrevolutionaries want to reverse fullmojis, but the great course of history cannot be undone. Denounce Marxism-Leninism-Fullmojism! Uphold Fullmoji School of Thought! red-sun

I didn't know this one had a tiny butthole on it until big emojis so I can relate pigpoop

[–] Trudge@lemmygrad.ml 6 points 2 years ago

If you're actually looking at the fullmoji instead of an upscaled smolji, you will discover that the butthole is NOT tiny.

You can fit another PPB in that butthole easily.
