I want to sync a directory on my GCP VM instance, which I access via SSH, with my local machine.

Here’s the catch: the directory contains multiple projects, each with its own virtual environment ("venv"). I do not want to sync these virtual environments to my local machine. I only want to download/revise any other files/directories I change on the VM.
