The US have not embraced the paper straw/wooden cutlery life. I know it hasn't been that long since we ditched the plastic straws and I was just getting used to them finally.. but now, like a pasta addict years on the wagon who just slurped a fresh sauce covered spaghet.. I remember how great it was. Sorry, sea turtles ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿข

remember when itunes first came out, and people would just....make their music library available to anyone in the vicinity? so you could be sitting at your computer, open itunes and have the option of listening to Brian-on-level-five's library as well as your own?

that is all.

Yeah, it was a mixtape-from-the-future type thing and was awesome. I miss mixtapes. I really put some proper thought into a couple and gave them to some people. Once or twice I would get a text saying they liked them, asking about a certain artist etc. That was cool. I made one for my partner early on. A couple of years ago I was looking for a playlist on our YouTube and saw that she'd made a playlist of that mixtape. That was cool too.

The little French bakery near me does these delicious little pasties that are amazing buttery pastry, mashed potato, peas, corn & carrots. So simple and so, so good.

Ran over some glass on the bike on the way to the shop and there goes the back tyre :(

It's hard rubbish collection down here in Queenscliff atm (everyone does it same day). I would've walked past at least 30-40 bikes being chucked in probably completely fine working order, and there I was walking home.

Ugh. Tried the Mitchum clinical gel in powder fresh (given to me) but I just had to scrub it off with hand soap. The scent has given me a headache.

Hey @catfish@lemmy.ml I was looking through my cleaning books and I found The clean home has lists in it for every room. Now I'm not sure about online list but if you go to her website organisedhousewife.com.au she may have the lists there too. She's also an Aussie.
