My seagate is making clicking (park) sound every 30-60 seconds when on idle, sometimes even when i open folders on it it park head, or some program running in background that is installed on HDD. I think this used to happen before but i didn't noticed because my fans were spinning harder.

I tried to make it sleep with APM controls in Crystaldisk, but it was spinning up randomly after few sec of sleep, so idea of it being silent and not clicking is not gonna work.

Is it safe to turn off apm so i dont hear head parking every minute or is it better to just leave it on and live with the constant head parking? Longevity > noise.
