Frankly, I'm not sure how to feel about it; I feel like dark Lemmygrad is more "official" and everyone uses it besides... but also, it's easier for me as I hate dark settings (seasonal depressive qualities and all).

Use whichever you prefer. That's why it's a user setting.

Good point.

I could not use dark modes too much, because my astigmatism made reading more difficult rather than the other way around. Now that I finally have glasses, I'm committed to enjoying this cool new thing that all people praised and I could not.

On a more serious note, light mode usually makes me think about commercial products and professional setting, while dark mode gives me this nice cozy feeling. But I can absolutely see why some people prefer light mode, it's a matter of personal preference (:

True enough.

light modes are significantly better “feeling” but harder to look at. we need to blend both light and dark modes in an effective synthesis so we can begin to agitate the prole- sorry I mean get the best of both worlds.

We need to combine the thesis mode with the antithesis mode to create a synthesis mode!

I tend to prefer dark modes not going to lie, but I settled on lightly red for lemmygrad, because i really like the red accents and they are not as prevalent on darkly red

[–] Makan@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 2 years ago

Oh nice. Maybe I'll try litely red then. 🤔

I use light mode. I like bright things, which is why I turn practically every light in the house on after like 6pm.

I use dark on mobile, and light on desktop. I understand it!
