Llama 3.1 outperforms OpenAI and other rivals on certain benchmarks. Now, Mark Zuckerberg expects Meta’s AI assistant to surpass ChatGPT’s usage in the coming months.

I doubt it, but good luck I guess. I’m just not a fan of AI in general.

I wouldn't use it simply because it's Facebook. Even if it's amazing, any interactions are support for Zuck's machinations.

I hate fb too, but they have opensourced several good tools like hhvm (really interesting one), cassandra, graphql, react and pytorch

Benchmarks doesn't mean a lot. Pratically i still have the best results with chatgpt

"Biggest and best" by what metric? smh...

(edit: I just saw their table of "metrics". It's pretty hilarious how they put Claude (which scores about the same) all the way to the right unhighlighted.)
