Federation always take a bit. How long have you waited?

Well it's been 12 hours since I deleted the comments, it's still showing up. I tried that on a reddthat.com and the comments are gone within 10 minutes. Also in one case, the Internet Archive on Lemmy community viewed though lemmy.ml still shows the first post undeleted even though it was deleted 5 days ago. The first post was meant to be a side bar thing, now the same info is duplicated. See for your self https://lemmy.ml/c/lemmyarchivists@lemmy.dbzer0.com

I just checked and it seems all but lemmy.ml (which goes up and down all the time) seems to have correct content, but they differ in the comment counter, and the username details. I am not sure why the user profile changes don't appear to federate properly. I have increased the amount of federation workers I use, but I'm asking around if anyone has an idea why this might happen and how to troubleshoot it

Notice the difference between these 2 versions?

(Please don't misinterpret the deleted comments, it was not meant to sound "Pro-Cop" but some people misinterpreted my comments which is why I decided to delete them to prevent further confusion.)

I'm fearing that this federation thing might not work. Corporate Reddit overlords will soon take over the (social media) world if we don't fix it. 😢

We're going to fix it. It's still very early and there's tons of bugs. More developers are onboarding as we speak.
