I'd like to buy a new external drive as the one I currently have is almost full. I planned to get the same one, WD Elements Portable 1TB (HDD) and use it as a backup for some photos, videos and other things. However, I've also thought of trying to install some games on it (such as Hogwarts Legacy, TS4, etc) and found another drive - SureFire GX3 Gaming SSD USB 3.2 Gen 1 1TB, which is suitable for gaming. And so I have a dilemma and don't know which one to choose. They cost about the same, but WD has more reviews at the store I'd get it from (2,228) while SureFire only has 48 reviews. I've also noticed that some other SureFire model just stopped working all of sudden and the plastic is very light, so I worry about it not lasting long.
Which do you think would be better?
