“You heard me right. I’m ordering a strike on Mar a Lago and the Supreme Court. Official acts, motherfuckers.”

Inb4 he leaves the presidency with six new supreme court picks and give them the power to eject eachother. Hits bong

There would need to be a vacancy or Congress would need to vote on the expansion of SCOTUS before there was a nomination.

However he can, and should, go on a District and Appeals judge seating spree until every last spot is filled.

I mean that was the rules. The president has unlimited power now.

Incorrect. The President has immunity from criminal convictions for official acts. That does not mean full control of the government.

He can’t seat more Justices. He’d have a better chance getting away with incarcerating a few of them.

So they do have full control provided you also have a branch of crazyvloyal enforcement units to threaten other officials into compliance.

[–] disguy_ovahea@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Nah. More like a justice system corrupt enough to rule that it was an official act that deserves immunity.

That’s a distinction without a difference.

In before Donald copies him and also drops out because he’s jealous.

I was thinking about creating a trump drops out of race meme. Just to confuse people.

Confirming what we knew all along: Dark Brandon wasn't real, he was simply a projection of what we wanted onto a middle-of-the-road president.

Isn't that what it's all been about, this whole experiment? No one person can ever encapsulate everything an electorate of millions of people want. Except, when they do we can give praise.

Maybe Kamala was the Dark Brandon all along
