We must continue the education campaign to increase those percentage points as the corporate politicians have not faced enough pressure for enabling the powerful few.

The quote was incomplete it didn't include the implied bits

"only a few people who count want proportional representation"

i.e. politicians don't want to change the game they have already won to be a politician

"only a few people" want it.

All of those people are not Liberal or Conservative apparatchiks who realize that PR would mean no more majority governments with ~35% of the vote.

If the NDP forms a government, even a minority with the support of, say, the BQ, this should be their day-two deliverable. No consultations, no committees. Just do it.

Ahh yes the first time I felt truly disillusioned by Canadian politics. The day he pulled that shit. I think I knew it as I was filling out the PR survey. I thought… these questions are worded weird… uh oh.
