For one of the largest social media platforms in the world, there are surprisingly few options for people wanting to save a livestream. I would have thought there would be more demand and more people asking about this, but there are hardly any save for a few reddit threads scattered throughout the years.

There is only https://github.com/Michele0303/tiktok-live-recorder really. And this one doesn't work half the time. I've also tried using VLC to convert the .flv of the livestream to .mp4 or .ts , but it keeps stopping on its own within 7 minutes and I can't figure out why.
