Looking for archival storage of family photos and videos.

Had a fire at our storage facility a couple years back while we were in the middle of moving to a new house, we had all of our family pictures in there, burned to a crisp... we only had the unit for 3 days before this happened... so now I'm super paranoid. Bought a fireproof, waterproof, everything proof giant gun safe basically that I want to put all of our precious stuff into, included what we have digitally.

I have probably 100gigs of pictures and videos from the last 15 years stored on an external HDD that I'm afraid will go corrupt. A friend of mine suggested M-Discs?

Money and writing speed and storage space aside.... who makes the best most reliable M-Discs (or other long term photo/video storage)?
