and that's why people shuck it. I'm not going to shuck it, but my question is - which is the largest capacity sweet spot if I'm going for value?

On a separate note, What is the biggest TB I can go "external" without the need for additional power outlet? Ideally powered by USB-C only.

Lastly, either WD or Seagate is ok for external drives yes? I'm going purely for reliability here and will only touch the drive once a year for backups. no constant writes.
