This was the first thing I thought about Saturday night when people started gaslighting about "No Republicans ever" calling for political violence.
There's lying by omission, straight up lying, then whatever the hell this is at the top of the scale
Ah yes, the days when batshit was so rapidly spewing from his mouth that I could barely remember what he said the week prior.
He really out here kneecapping an opportunity to try and regain ground with suburban moms.
Pundits and officials are now calling for measured rhetoric where before they called for violence, endorsed the January 6th coup d'etat, where they still assert a Trump 2020 popular victory, and disparage marginalized groups, suggesting they children and family values the way blood libel was used to disparage Jews.
These pundits and officials have the self awareness of seagulls, if that.
They're just noticing the Sword of Damocles swaying gently in the breeze, possibly for the first time.
