I'm planning to gather multiple terabytes of repacks to unpack and install for a personal collection. This project will probably take months, with almost 24/7 read and write operations. So, my question is: would an HDD for NAS setups, like the WD Purple or Red, be good for this? I've read they're durable and perfect for this kind of thing. I'm hoping the drives will last at least five years.

And yes, I’ll be seeding.
