That's not a "Bob Ross" painting, that's a "You" painting. You did that and you should be proud!

Rules
AI Art: While we appreciate AI generated art, there are more appropriate communities to post that type of art to. Please keep posts to non-AI generated art only. This rule includes AI art that was then manually manipulated (e.g. drawing on top of something generated by AI).
NSFW Policy: Nudity and suggestive content has always been a part of art, but it may be something that some users don't wish to see or cannot view in certain circumstances (e.g. at work). If your work contains nudity or suggestive content, please mark it as NSFW. Work that contains nudity or suggestive content that is not marked as NSFW will be taken down. As long as the NSFW tag is used, we welcome nude or suggestive subject matter. If you aren't sure if your work is NSFW or not, just ask yourself, "Could I look at this at a typical office job and not get into trouble?" If you're still not sure after that, you should probably mark it as NSFW just to be on the safe side.
Spam: Please do not spam this community. Self promotion is fine if you just want people to be aware of your work, but blatant attempts at spam will result in the past being removed and possibly a ban. If you aren't sure if what you are posting is spam, please contact the moderator first.
Conduct: Be nice, and don't be a jerk. Constructive criticism is OK, but don't be mean. Encouragement is always welcomed.
Exactly what I wanted to make sure someone commented when I loaded the thread after seeing the pic.
Was it as easy as he makes it look?
Yes and no, there is technique (especially with the snow on the mountains using a knife) but Ross's attitude of there's no such thing as a mistake makes it easier
I wanted to follow along so badly when I was a kid, but my mom never had the money for an oil paint set, canvases, and brushes. I suppose I could try now. Your painting looks great BTW!
Look at all those happy little trees! This is stunning OP
That wrench is pretty realistic
Haha yea I should have tried a little harder to get a good picture
Iβm just goofin. It looks great!
I wish I was good paint, like you clearly are.
I love the colors. That's really impressive and a beautiful piece.
So crisp! Great work :)
Really lovely, nice work!
Looks fantastic! That's a hanger for sure.
Very nice! Deserves a repost hung against a blank background!
This is great, I really have to dig out my painting supplies I ordered a few years ago. I started with acryl so I practice a bit before switching to oil, then RL happened and between "no time" and "I need better lightning" / "research about safe non toxic paint cleaner" I kinda forgot about it.
Do you have any modern guides with "just get this and don't overthink it" that you can recommend? With a kid at home I don't really wanna stress too much about toxic paint etc.
Keep painting ππ
Toxic oil paint is caused by the heavy metals in the pigment like cadmium, cobalt, and lead. Linseed oil works as a good paint thinner and good old soap and water to clean the brushes
