I have a Panasonic DMR-EH75V VCR / DVD combo and Funai ZV427FX4 VCR / DVD combo that work great for this purpose, but I would like more VCRS to speed up the digitization process. I know that JVC SVHS are capable of this, but SVHS are much more costly than the VCR / DVD combos. I've bought a few cheap combos just hoping that they'd record VHS through S Video, but get burned more often than not. Some say "DVD only" that of course don't work for VHS, but even some that don't say that aren't working out either. Is there a list somewhere of VCRs for S Video digitization? Or anyone know of a few thrifty models I could get? Thanks for any advice.
