Yes, that's how leverage works. I think they know that when they themselves are negotiating from a place of power.
This is all WestJet’s fault for failing to pay them right.
Looks like it was sent to arbitration and no strike per the just updates article.
And from reading my impression is that WestJet was playing the public a bit by cancelling shit early.
Imposed arbitration is bullshit.
Easy fix, give the employees what they want. Fuck your profits
