I'm a teacher and amateur photographer and have tons of files stored in various locations like thumb drives, two external hard drives, dropbbox, google drive etc. I have two macbooks (work & personal), ipad, and an amazon fire tablet.

Since I have all of these devices with tons of files scattered and not always being accessible when I need it or having to take my external hard drives with me if I think I might need something off of it... I was thinking of purchasing a home cloud storage.

Would that be the best option to help with my dilemma? I was thinking a WD 8TB. -- I need something inexpensive and user friendly (plug in and go with easy set up). I want something to dump data and access anywhere.

I have no clue how to speak computer lingo... so talk to me like I'm a child. lol
