Anything goes at home, hyperlink/not at all/under a spoiler for away posting seems a better guideline to avoid bystanders catching strays.
I find the original trollface works well. Just the right level of rage-inducing "tee-hee" ironic detatchment that makes a poster a poster.

I think a lot of people are catching strays they either don't deserve or haven't earned yet. I expect it will mellow out eventually though.
