and the people who made then happen

I thought it was talking about how to beat those people mainly responsible for the heat we face (like people in govs or big companies) and thus were the reason why those ideas were made.

Ah yes, three "experimental approaches": a grift, another grift, and the barest minimum dose of states actually maybe doing some fraction of the established and time-tested method of actually addressing the problem.

Reminder that internal documents show that Exxon knew about climate change in the 1970's but chose to cover it up and lie about it for decades.

reminds me of the ban that is going into effect state-wide in Florida in less than 1 week (July 1st).

the ban is on counties and municipalities from creating or imposing any heat protection for outdoor workers.

I set up a beach umbrella surrounded with an electric fence and charge people by the minute to stand under it. I offer to switch on the electric fan for an additional fee. I am an entrepreneur contributing to society.

Mfw surge pricing is activated on a 136 degree day and the cool station is 64% more expensive, and I get fined by the shade police for jumping the turnstile

Everyone here knows we aren’t going to curtail anything.

Might as well ride the nuke down to the ground.

Only one of those things isn't just Capitalist Innovation (TM) and even then its a liberal half measure that should be considered below the bare minimum
