I have activated passkeys on my Google account and now I cannot use them to login on my laptop running Arch Linux, assuming that both my phone and laptop are connected to the same ESSID. It just says place your phone close to your computer but nothing happens.

I use YubiKeys for a lot of my MFA. Is there a reason that you've chosen passkey? I saw the announcement but I didn't pay much attention to it since I've already use YubiKeys.

Because the possibility of being somewhere without my phone is a lot lower compared to being without my Yubikey.

My YubiKey is with my house keys so I guess I usually don't have that problem. I am often without my phone than my house keys.

I'm also weary of wireless authentication so I try to use the YubiKey's USB connector. With the Yubi and phone, I use NFC the most often.
