What happened to TCB scans?
No idea! That was my first port of call too and had to look elsewhere. I only found out this chapter had dropped as people started talking about it on YouTube.
I expected the official release today. It seems that whoever got those scans got them super early.
My thoughts on chapter 1090:
- Rob Lucci bringing out information is nice, I hope the strawhats notice and act accordingly tho
- I feel like Egghead Pace is increasing exponentially
The most savage quote from Elder Saturn this chapter:
Humans are no different from insects ... Even if their numbers reduce, they will just multiply again
- seems like he speaks from Void-Century experience
- ironic he says that while talking to a human (Vice Admiral Doberman)
- he says that, while looking human himself. i wonder weather he is even human himself, or some kind of alien
Kizaru outlined his principles, very cool, and more complicated than I expected from lazy justice.
I can not ignore a man who is determined to fight for his duty. Doing so will go against my ideals.
- maybe that is why he chose to fight Rayleigh at Sabaody?
The fact the Seraphim carry on the feelings of their lineage factor "parent" with them seems a weird decision... are they just clones of the Original with better stats or will they develop their own feelings? Overall 9/10

Celestial Dragons and Elders are supposed to be humans, but they think themselves as better than "mere" humans. Perhaps there will be an alien twist incoming!

Judging by Vegapunk's reaction, he didn't intend them to carry the original's feelings, but I guess the propensity to feel certain ways is inherited in the cloning process.
The TCB scan just came out. There were a few translation differences that stood out. Biggest one was Kizaru's response to Saturn about just warping in. He didn't refuse just out of hand or because of some ideals. He also refused because if Sentomaru wasn't taken out first he could command the Pacifista and Sea Beasts to destroy the Marine fleet.
