Hi all

So I am setting up a RAID5 NAS and I have 3 4TB drives and 1 8TB drive. No hot spare drives. According to a RAID calculator, I will only have 12TB of usable storage, and it says 4TB is unused. This is consistent in the NAS panel, it is showing just under 12TB, why is this? Is that 8TB drive a waste, or am I missing something?
