Huh, I wonder if this group (early years) is related to the evolution of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raggare. Like did Scandinavians develop a fascination with U.S. southern white poverty culture decades ago and it's developed since then?

Nostalgia trip right here. This song got played at just about every major boyscout camp I went to. And from what I know, still gets played at those camps.
