there is functionally no major difference between the two governments. both were born in similar circumstances, maybe ukraine has more nazis, but honestly we'd have to do some sort of psychic census to even determine that considering russia isnt a communist government that purposefully roots them out at every step. i'm sure russia has used them as useful idiots plenty of times in their own interventions like in chechnya and so on.
