Have to get dress shoes, found some that seem decent, what is the consensus on them?

I've had some Clark's in the past, but never for dress shoes.

Avoid Clarks like the plague.

They were bought out by a bunch of greedy venture capitalists who tried the old "fire and rehire" on the loyal staff.

The shoes are now a shadow of the former company

Absolutely fucking shameful

Thanks for sharing, I suspected this kind of stuff.

Any alternative you would recommend?

I changed from Clarks to Mephisto.

More expensive but 10x the quality and preposterously comfy!

Ooo they look nice! Spain and Portugal have two types of shoes - utter shite and amazing handmade stuff. I would think they're the latter.

If you're looking to spend a bit have you thought about Church's?

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a look!
