Existence = Life and Glazed Tiny Grains = Frosted Mini Wheats, but I haven't figured out what the other two are.

Ah, nice! I should have figured that one out.

Ahh, “Weev” is a four-letter version of “Weave” the same way “Chex” is a shortened “Checkerboard”, perhaps referring to the Ralston Purina checkerboard logo.

[–] Crackhappy@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

It looks like Chex, so I suppose that makes sense. Aren't you all focusing on the wrong things though?

[–] redhorsejacket@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago

I assumed something like shredded wheat.

Trix and Cookie Crisp I think.

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world 17 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I think you're right. Cookie = Sweetdisk I can see, but Crisp and Chomp are pretty different.

[–] I_Fart_Glitter@lemmy.world 17 points 2 years ago

I agree. Sweetdisk is established to mean to mean cookie.. Malt O Meal “Cookie Bites” cereal does exist, but it’s a not so well known rip off of Cookie Crisp.

[–] Sotuanduso@lemm.ee 5 points 2 years ago

I thought it was Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but that makes a lot more sense.

[–] aramis87@fedia.io 0 points 2 years ago (4 children)

I think Sweetdisc Chomp is Honey Nut Cheerios.

[–] ninjabard@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

Sweetdisk is the Strange planet name for cookie

[–] HAL_9_TRILLION@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 2 years ago

I thought Honeycomb.

And Tiny Glazed Grains = Rice Krispies or maybe Smacks.

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Hm, but none of the words in the name correspond, plus it's not so much known as a kid's cereal. And Cheerio is established to be Jauntio here.

[–] aramis87@fedia.io 1 points 2 years ago

Honey (sweet) disc (round Cheerios) chomp (nuts). That's how I thought anyway.

[–] Mango@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

Naw that's jauntios.

My favorite was always Cocoa-Based Bloodsucking Supernatural Being of European Nobility.

[–] echodot@feddit.uk 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Coco vampire? Americans have some very strange cereal names.

[–] mydoomlessaccount 3 points 2 years ago

This mfer right here. Total sugar bomb. Absolutely horrible for you. It's the best.

Who else turned their phone upside down to check the box?

Easter egg could have been "cocoa encapsulated fructose ordnances?"

[–] el_abuelo@lemmy.ml 4 points 2 years ago

I have been able to identify symbols in the rotated position for some solar cycles now.

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 9 points 2 years ago

Add sweet crystals to the Juantios and it's pretty good.

Lucky Charms

Trix

Cinnamon Toast Crunch

Frosted Flakes

Life

Cheerios

Chex

Many human nestlings of the North American variety protest the last two cereal lines because they are a much lower calorie content and sweetness.

[–] xanu@lemmy.world 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I thought the third one was Cookie Crisp

I first understood the 'earlier consciousness' to mean he was born earlier and hence felt he had right to the cereal of choice

I have a daily calendar of these cartoons, and it really is the high point of waking up to turn to a new day. Amazingly, my wife also enjoys it (we are very compatible in most things but not humour).

Took me way too long not to see Juanitos

[–] Crackhappy@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

I apologize, I am sure I'm missing something. Where?
