Unironically, if it was turned off, rinsing it with distilled water and letting it dry thoroughly may be enough, as long as the water pressure didn't knock anything off the PCB (or get into the thermal paste and cause that to run out).
Got a cool DIY water cooled CPU on sale through FB marketplace.
If AM was having such a bad time, why didn't it just do that to itself?
