also it doesn't raise money and give +5-10 voting buff, which is the most important thing.

drag this out for 30 years

I'm getting old and I hate the fucking democrats. It makes me sick to think abortion will end up being illegal in the entire US and that will remain true even after I'm worm food.

I read most of the article even though I suspected it would be wrong and I'd be really annoyed. And I was right. The dems are lying and "Restoring Roe" is DOA right now.

Congress's ability to bypass the Supreme Court here is extremely murky.

That is all wrong. I don't know who the writer is - Steve Morris. But he must be some kind of lawyer jerkoff. Reality is not a law school class where the best argument and best grasp of the Constitution rule the day. The real legal world is raw, naked power. Who has it and how they use it. Biden and the dems can't do some kind of too clever legal endrun around the GOP justices. The justices will not allow that - full stop.

Even in theory - the only way the Biden and the dems could "Restore Roe" is is they first did a radical judicial overhaul (packing the court for example) and then pass a law. We all know they will never do that. Skipping step one means the GOP justices will simply rule the unConstitional. They have the raw, naked power and they'll gleefully use it. That's it. That's the whole ballgame.
