Q292640261046a:

Detecting multiple leviathan class lifeforms in the region. Are you certain whatever you're doing is worth it?

At least it is not Barotrauma that's happening...

Just send the Netherlands to Q292640261046a, they’ll make quick work of all the water.

Parallel universes if Team Aqua or Team Magma did succeed

I don't remember where I saw it, but I watched a video about different exo-planets. One that stuck out to me was a planet that had miles of ice but possibly also a liquid water ocean underneath. If intelligent life evolved down there, they would probably have no clue about the wider universe and think their world is all that exists. Imagine such a being's reaction if they ever drilled up through the ice. I feel like this could be turned into a good sci-fi book.

"It’ll have to go,” the men of Krikkit said as they headed back for home.

You might be interested in the movie Europa Report. It's not about an exoplanet but I think it fits.

My immediate thought was wondering how they'd forge metal for a drill while underwater

I've always been a fan of "Slickle", the Carbon planet covered in grease and diamonds.

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Is that… it’s actual name?

Also. Molten uranium? I assume you’re not talking about the depressingly unradioactive stuff?

Can we contrive some means of marooning billionaires there?

I don't think any of these are planets.

Though one interesting thing is that Ligma was actually the name of a company incorporated in England and Wales that provided IT consulting services.

It has the company number: 12243748. Google the company number and see for yourself.

[–] StoneyDcrew@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Also Google their sister company. Company number: 11933362

[–] sir_pronoun@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Incidentally, I am selling properties on Ligma Shitfuckius, cheaper than anybody else is selling them! Contact me for info
