The link above is to apple’s website that shows u how to move photos to an external device. More specifically the “Export photos and videos to an external storage device” section.

If I choose to do this, will my iPhone move the photos or just copy the photos and videos over and leave the originals on my phone?

How would restoring the photos work? If I import it back, would the dates and location and everything still be there? Has anyone done this and can I get insight on this? Thank you!
