Those are all Rule 1 violations, which reads, "No bigotry - including racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, or xenophobia." (and includes a link up the code of conduct).

LemmyWorld did this EXACT thing to absolutely everyone posting a view left of the US State Dept. It's what got Hexbear defederated, it's what got me banned despite the fact I broke NO rules besides supporting Lenin/USSR and posting about those things.
They are ridiculous. They do this exact thing to everyone to their left and then they can't fucking take it if anyone else does it to them. Even when in this case it's just literally cracking down on the mindless misinformation and bullshit libs peddle about this event.
When they unban lenins2ndcat so I can go back to the massive amount of effective posting I was doing on their instance then they can start whining about censorship elsewhere. They do it themselves if a communist is effective enough to get upvotes there. There were a dozen subreddits ready to migrate too and they killed that shit stonedead and put the brakes on the entire movement to swap from reddit to lemmy with their bullshit. Literally everyone saw what lemmyworld was doing and said nahhhh fuck that in the backrooms at the peak of everyone being motivated to move.

That may be a statistical fluke, since most of the active tanks on the planet are US manufactured, haven't seen maintenance since the first Bush admin, and were only built to function in the desert as long as the wind isn't blowing too hard.
I thought maybe it was a comment on how stuff like drones and global imaging have made modern warfare revolve around long-range artillery/unmanned aerial strikes and then rapid troop movement

You know, this makes me sad and I can't really nail down why. I think it's because their ignorance is so pointless. I want .ml to maintain its current position because it's the closest thing we have to a place where we can talk with them. I feel like, for many of them, their current position on what "tankies" (Marxists) are and what they think is holding on by the skin of its teeth, reliant completely on enculturation because it's wildly out of step with what the vast, vast majority of Marxists on any instance actually say.
I hope some of them come to understand and accept how they've been lied to.
ml should absolutely not cave to libs just because they are not used to having their worldview challenged.
They're used to being able to silence anyone to their left. Turns out they can't take what they were dishing out.

The threat is bigger than that though. These people control the code base and can easily just start running modified code to fuck with various aspects of federation to generally keep their finger on the scale of any instance which federates with them. At best they have shown they have no shame and cannot be trusted. If there is any means of abusing their power, it must be assumed that they will embrace it.
Again literally no evidence that .ml has abused the federation algorithm or whatever.
Also it's open source so if you want to see what's in the code base just go fuckin look?

Sucks to see so many people hating on dessalines in the comments. They have made audiobooks on tons of theory and written study guides. Really just a stand up person that wants people to learn, and they are getting mischaracterized as some kind of crazy badmin.
