There are currently several hundred people competing for the title of world's longest suicide note. None of these people are actually going to commit suicide any time soon, because their highly competitive personalities are still outweighing the otherwise overwhelming feeling of Weltschmerz that they all share. Currently in the lead is a Faroese man in his mid-30s, who is writing his suicide note in the form of a traditional kvæði ballad.
